The outsourcer Intelcia continues its international expansion and gets closer to Unisono, rich of 16 sites, mainly on the Spanish-speaking market.
Intelcia announces the acquisition of 100% of the Spanish group Unisono. A decision ratified after the approval of the boards of directors of both groups on August 6, 2021. Founded in Madrid in 1999, Unisono is specialized in customer experience, business process outsourcing, digitalization, automation and customer relationship consulting. Unisono has 9,000 employees in 16 locations in Spain, Colombia, Chile and Scotland.
Unisono has around 100 customers and is announcing a turnover of 146 million euros in 2020. The acquisition of the Spanish company is part of Intelcia's 2020-2025 strategy and meets the group's strategic challenge of geographic and business diversification. This shift will begin in 2020 with the creation of the Intelcia IT Solutions division, as well as its presence in the Americas, particularly the United States.
"We are happy to welcome the Unisono group and all its employees into the Intelcia family. We want to rely on the knowledge of the local management and preserve the skills to continue to build a common history together. This operation is part of a real partnership that will offer Unisono's employees prospects for development, particularly towards more global positions. Also, the complementarity of our expertise and our geographical presence have already allowed us to identify several areas of growth", says Karim Bernoussi, CEO and co-founder of Intelcia.
With the acquisition of Unisono, Intelcia acquires new onshore, nearshore and offshore multilingual capabilities to address the Spanish-speaking market. Intelcia should reach a turnover of 700 million euros in 2021, a portfolio of 300 customers, 35,000 employees and 72 sites in 20 countries.
